When she finally makes it big in Hollywood, screenwriter Erika tries to balance her newfound fame with the feelings she still has for her high school crush, all the while overcoming her fear of a past tragedy.
This is a story about someone famous falling in love with someone normal. Except that she wasn’t always famous. And he wasn’t always normal.
"Wonderful details in the scene and character descriptions, which gives us a clear view into the two different economic worlds of Chicago versus Los Angeles. Nice tension with the school shooting flashback and the empty gun, would love to hear and see more of this dramatic, life changing event. Erika is a great character, and very funny mostly because her actions feel truthful. Bobby is also a likable character. He and Erika have good chemistry and a real connection. A feel good happy ending."
